PU adhesive is a single component, moisture curing polyurethane adhesive for bonding various materials such as insulation and promenade tiles to various substrates such as roofing decks, asphalt, bituminous roofing felt, concrete and plywood etc.   The adhesive should be applied in straight line strips ensuring that least 20% of the surface is covered.  During curing, the adhesive absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and expands providing a firm support to the product which results in an effective and practical fixing method that can even be used in damp and humid conditions. When cured the adhesive retains a degree of flexibility to allow for thermal and structural movement of the tiles and roof which other adhesives do not. The bonding time is dependent on the temperature and humidity and is available in both single containers and pressurised spray application containers for increased speed.
