Our top quality aluminium roof edge trims are suitable for both felt and EPDM roofs. They are extruded to BS EN 755 specifications using Aluminium 6063 T 05. and supplied in a mill finish. This means that our aluminium roof edge trims are durable , resilient, unaffected by atmospheric pollution and they will not rust.
All sections are supplied in 2.5 metre lengths and are available to order in anodised and powder coated finish with joining sleeves included. Both internal and external corners are also available.
Our GRP roof edge trims are simple to handle and install as demonstrated below.
Aluminium roof edge trims should be fixed over the first layer of a built up roofing system at no more than 300mm centres, with corrosion resistant fixings no less than 25mm long.
All surfaces to come into contact with waterproofing membranes should be coated with bituminous primer.
N.B. It is recommended for asphalt roofs that the joints on the fixing arm are spanned by a bonded 100mm piece of H.T. felt.
